Amongster is the alias of Ghent-based musician and songwriter Thomas Oosterlynck, known for blending atmospheric soundscapes with introspective lyrics. Amongster gained prominence after winning De Nieuwe Lichting in 2014, a competition organized by Studio Brussel. Amongster's debut album, "Trust Yourself to the Water," was released in 2017, featuring singles like "Bright Life" and "Butcher's Boy," which received significant airplay on Belgian radio stations. The band's performances at major Belgian festivals, including Pukkelpop and Rock Werchter, have solidified their reputation for delivering captivating live shows.
