Wouter Dewit, born in 1981 in Maaseik, Belgium, is a renowned composer and jazz pianist. He began classical piano training in childhood and, after studying languages at Vrije Universiteit Brussel, worked as an English teacher in Hasselt. Returning to music, Dewit released his debut solo album "La Durée" in 2017, followed by "Still" the same year, and "Here" in 2019. In 2019/2020, he served as Artist in Residence at Cultuurcentrum Hasselt. Expanding into film, Dewit composed the score for the 2023 movie "Sur les chemins noirs."
