Though this song was originally written and recorded by John Hiatt and has been covered by many over the years, SYML adds the depth of emotion that is stalwart to his original material.
SYML is the project of Brian Fennell, a self-taught producer, programmer, engineer, guitarist, percussionist, and classically trained pianist with deep roots in the Pacific Northwest. Since releasing his self-titled debut album, Fennell has risen to prominence with an acclaimed body of work celebrated for its honest songwriting, exploring themes of longing and loss, connecting with people around the world, resulting in over 1 billion streams. SYML spent the last six months in the studio, working on his second album.
