Nambyar

Nambyar is the solo project of musician, songwriter, and producer Jesse Nambiar, who crafts heartfelt indie pop. Jesse first gained recognition as a member of the pop band Valerius, with which he achieved a number-one hit in Indonesia. After releasing two albums with the band, he decided to pursue a solo career.

Since going solo, Jesse has supported Billie Eilish and has been steadily releasing new music since 2020, including singles like "Caroline," "How Would It Feel," and "Lost." His music offers candid reflections on dealing with depression, fears, and insecurities, but always with an underlying sense of hope. Tracks like "Things Get Better," which recently surpassed two million streams, highlight his optimistic outlook. Alongside the struggles, Jesse also celebrates life's positive changes, singing about love and fatherhood.

His debut album, *How Would It Feel*, was released on October 29, 2021, and recorded at Martin Garrix's renowned STMPD Recording Studios. Jesse marked the album’s release with a live performance at Bitterzoet in Amsterdam. He has also garnered attention with appearances on 3FM and features in *Linda Magazine*.

In the past year, Jesse has embraced a more stripped-down, soulful approach to his music, which will shape his forthcoming second album. Set to release this year via V2 Records, the new record will be supported by a fresh band lineup, marking an exciting new chapter for Nambyar.
