On his 22nd birthday, he sold everything he had, except his guitar. He left his ‘old life’ behind and started a new one in Berlin. There he recorded his platinum single ‘She Moves’ together with Alle Farben. This accumulated 64M streams to date and marked the beginning of a string of impressive collaborations. Household names like Parov Stellar, Thomas Gold, Robin Schulz and many more asked him to sing on their tracks.
Meanwhile, he didn’t lose his SSW roots and recorded a full length with his own tracks, called ‘Plan A’. With this album he toured Europe to some great venues and big festivals like Glastonbury, Sziget and Rock Im Park. All the while his toplines made people dance on Tomorrowland, Melt and Lollapolooza.
This contradiction in the music he makes is making a comeback on his new EP, called ‘Keep On Smiling’. The intimate campfire songs Belong and Find My Way are remarkable between the produced popsongs Aroha and Keep On Smiling. Graham tells: ‘’It’s meant to mix the big, fast, feeling of Berlin with the acoustic campfire feeling of New Zealand. This EP brings my roots and my present, both my worlds, together.’’
The title track of his new EP 'Keep On Smiling' is an upbeat positive song with a huge singalong hook! It about bringing friends together, near and a far, to sing along and keep on smiling. The song was written in Los Angeles at the break of the Corona pandemic.
